Navette Communication & Language Services

True story: my search for a cookie in Marseille once led to an encounter that shaped my outlook on the world.

It was one of those serendipitous moments that seem to happen to me more frequently when traveling—small talk with a stranger on the way to the bakery became a “That’s-exactly-what-I-needed-to-hear” type of conversation. To me, the orange blossom-scented, boat-shaped navette is a reminder of how stepping outside your usual path can open new perspectives.

Navette also means "shuttle" in French, which is what I aim to do in my work: help ideas travel smoothly from one place to another, so they reach the right people.

The organizations I tend to collaborate with have an original offering or purpose that they’re not sure how to draw people to. This conundrum has long been fascinating to me, and I’ve always seen my role in communications as a “translator:” someone who helps others say what they mean and be understood.

My own relationship with French began years ago while studying in Paris, and it later became a central part of my career when I worked in the language for a French cultural organization. Several years ago, a volunteer project inspired me to become a French-to-English translator and complete training in the field.

Now, I combine my two decades of communications experience with translation expertise to help organizations speak the language of their audiences.
